Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROY ELMER ESLER Peacefully in his sleep, Roy Esler of La Riviere passed away April 10, 2009 at Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound. His passing is mourned by his wife of 55 years, Patricia (nee Van Dusen); his son Allen (Zenny); daughters, Dawn Young (Gerry), Karen Ching (Hal) and Shannon Holenski (Glen); and 11 grandchildren. Also his brother Murray (Marion) and sisters Alice McLaren (Roy) and Lois Creith; brothers-in-law Lloyd and Cathie Van Dusen, Neil and Sue Van Dusen and Frank and Joy Van Dusen and families. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Jean Esler, in-laws Margaret and Garvie Van Dusen, brothers, Keith, Elwood and John K. and brother-in-law Robert Creith and one son in infancy. Services for Roy will be Thursday April 16 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews United Church, Manitou. Donations can be made to the La Riviere Cemetery Association or the La Riviere Recreation Association.
