Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIANE TELLIER It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother on April 12, 2009 at the age of 88. She is now at peace in the arms of the Lord. Lilliane is survived by her three children, Monique (Glenn), Roger (Hélène), Paulette (John), seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren as well as her sisters, Dorothée Parent and Laurette Wasylynko and sisters-in-law, Marie-Jeanne Tellier (Herman), Marie-Jeanne Tellier (Henri) and Thérèse Vermette (Arcade). She was predeceased by her husband Albert (1996), daughter Lynne (1999), her parents Polydore (1982) and Ada Vermette (1985) and her brothers, Georges (2008) and Arcade Vermette (2008). Lilliane was born on February 9, 1921 and grew up on a farm in St-Jean-Baptiste, Manitoba. In 1946, she married Albert Tellier. They lived on a farm in Saint Norbert where they laboured and raised their family. Her extensive garden was always a great pride to her. Mom was also an avid animal lover. Growing up we fondly remember the regular family visits with lots of stories, food and fun. In 1969 they sold their farm but kept a few acres for a new home. Then in the mid 1980s, Lilliane and Albert moved to St. Vital. Mom then developed Alzheimer's and in 1998 was admitted to Foyer Valade. Mom's grandchildren and great-grandchildren always had a special place in her heart. She loved to babysit them and make goodies whenever they visited. Lilliane's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Foyer Valade for the compassionate care given to our mom during these many years. Très chère maman, tu seras toujours dans nos coeurs et dans nos pensées. Nous t'aimons et nous ne t'oublierons jamais. Merci pour tout. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba or Foyer Valade. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Norbert Roman Catholic Church (80 St. Pierre St.) on Friday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.
