BERT (LAMBERTO) SACLOLO MAS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandpa, Bert (Lamberto) Saclolo Mas on Saturday April 11, 2009. Dad passed away at his home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is survived by his wife Lita (Isabelita) of 32 years, his children, Maria (Orlando), Elizabeth (Glenn) and Oliver; and his two grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Ashton and Elicia; as well as numerous friends and relatives in Winnipeg, Manitoba and in Cavite, Philippines. Dad was born in Cavite, Philippines on September 19, 1949. It was in Cavite, Philippines where he met the love of his life, Lita. He immigrated to Canada in 1977 where they soon married July 23, 1977. Dad worked at Unisys for over 20 years, Perimeter Industries Ltd. for four years and then at Phillips and Temro for two years. Dad was the first to lend a helping hand and always put others before himself. Dad truly loved drawing, fishing and spending time with family and friends and treasured the many memories along the way. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. Lamay will be held on Friday, April 17 at 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, April 18 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., followed by a reception at Glen Lawn Reception Centre, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
