Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN NELSON Peacefully, on April 12, 2009, Brian Nelson passed away at the age of 68 following an exhausting struggle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Brian was born August 4, 1940 in Richard, SK. He spent his formative years in Saskatoon, SK. He and his family then lived in Regina and Winnipeg. Brian was husband to Marilyn, father to Marni (Rick) Hutsebaut and Shawn (Meagan Radford), grandfather to Nelson and Megan Hutsebaut all of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents Philip and Ruth and only brother David Nelson. The family would like to thank Dawn and Walter Hutsebaut, Dr. M. Evans and all the kind supportive people with the ALS Society, homecare network and palliative ward staff at St. Boniface General Hospital. A memorial service will be on Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, if people so desire, donations can be made to the ALS Society at 2109 Portage Ave., Room 108, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3.
