JOHN ZILKIE On Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital, John Zilkie died at the age of 98 years. He is survived by daughter Marilyn (Ed) Bergman, son Walter (Darlene); grandsons, Aaron (fiancé Michelle), Adam (Julie-Anne), also one sister Eleanor and one brother Art, and many other relatives and friends. John was predeceased by his wife Mina in 1995. Prior to retirement, John farmed in the Morris and Manitou areas for many years. Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowood Manor Chapel, 575 St. Anne's Road. Private interment has taken place. If friends desire, donations may be made to Meadowood Manor or a charity of one's choice.
