KEVIN JOHN MACKENZIE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, Kevin John MacKenzie on Sunday April 12, 2009 at the young age of 43. Kevin was born on January 17, 1966 and lived in Winnipeg all of his life. He is predeceased by his father James MacKenzie. He is remembered by his loving wife of 18 years, Imelda; daughter Meghan; mother Donna; brothers George and James; sister Kimberley (Roger), also numerous nieces, nephews and relatives in Manitoba, B.C., United States and the Philippines. Kevin enjoyed playing sponge hockey, curling and golfing. He coached his daughter's soccer team for many years and was a very proud soccer dad. Kevin worked for Westco for the last 10 years. Prior to that Kevin worked at Maple Leaf Meats (Burns), and Canada Packers. Viewing and prayers will be held on Sunday April 19, 2009 at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West at 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Kevin's life, interment and reception will follow on Monday April 20, 2009 at Wheeler Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be James MacKenzie, Bismarck Pontanos, Richard Price, John McCormack, Roger Offenloch and Marc Belanger.
