NEALE BATES 1940 - 2009 On April 15, 2009 Neale passed away in the company of his family. He will be sadly missed by his daughters; Sheryl (Vince), Suzanne (Kevin), and Joanne (Jeff), his grandchildren; Mackenzie, Kris, Myles, Stuart, Jackson and George and his former wife, Janet. Neale's journey was fraught with many challenges. In spite of this, all who knew Neale appreciated his sense of humor and his ability to tell it like it is . His philosophy was summed up by Forrest Gump Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get . Neale's family would like to thank all the many care givers who crossed his path over the last 28 years. Special thanks to Carter, Ray, Kaylene, and Dr Brian Penner. Respecting Neale's wishes, there will be no formal service. Think of him the next time you raise your glass of cheer. Flowers gratefully declined.
