HELEN BELL July 9, 1922 - April 12, 2009 Peacefully, on Sunday, April 12, 2009, at the age of 86, Helen passed away at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Lillian, son David (Mina), daughter Susan (Dan), her loving grandchildren Sherry, Lori, Kelly and Nevan, and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, parents James and Nellie Davidson and sister Margaret. Helen was born in Niagara Falls, Ont. She married Richard in 1950 and lived in New Brunswick and Germany before settling in Winnipeg upon Richard's retirement from the military. Helen was a devoted mother and grandmother and had a great love of people, animals and dancing. She also enjoyed telling people you're lovely , whether she knew them or not! Mom will always be remembered for her kind, supportive, generous and gentle nature. A private service for family was held. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nursing and care staff at Tuxedo Villa for the wonderful care and compassion they showed Mom during her time there.
