MYRTLE MAY CROFT (JAMES) Myrtle May Croft passed away on April 11, 2009 after a short illness at Peace Arch Hospital, two weeks shy of her 95th birthday. Myrtle was predeceased by her husband, Bill, in 1970 and her son, Bob, in 1989. She is survived by her daughter Dawn and son-in-law Paul of White Rock, B.C. and her daughter Marlene and partner Doug of Rock Creek, B.C., six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Myrt was born in Saltcoats, Saskatchewan April 24, 1914 and spent the first half of her life in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 1967 she moved with her husband Bill and her youngest daughter Dawn to White Rock, B.C. For the past twenty years Myrt lived at Kiwanis Park Place and the past two months at Peace Portal Lodge. In her retirement, Myrt was an outdoor enthusiast. She loved to garden and golf. She will be sadly missed by her family.
