BEN KEHLER Peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, MB, Ben passed away at the age of 84 years. Ben is survived by his loving wife Mae with whom he shared 61 years. Together they raised four children and enjoyed traveling, square dancing, bowling, and volunteer work. He was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 18. Ben is also survived by one brother, Arthur (Susan), four children, Marge (Bernie) Dueck, Ron (Kitty) Kehler, David (Sharon) Kehler, and Maryanne (Dan) Bergen; grandchildren, Steve, Shelly (Dan), Rina (Julian), Tami (Jed), Terra (Stacey), April (Scott); and great grandchildren, Tristan, Colbie, Jacob, and Rylan. Ben was predeceased by two sisters, four brothers, and one grandson Jason. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carman Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, #1 452 Dovercourt Dr. Winnipeg, MB, R3Y 1G4, or to Boyne Lodge (Friends of Boyne Park) Box 1644, Carman, MB, R0G 0J0.
