Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY GEORGE SEYMOUR JR. On Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2009 with his family by his side, Stan passed away. Stanley was born on May 9, 1942 in Bissett, Manitoba to Ruby and Stanley Seymour. He lived and went to school in Bissett. He moved to Winnipeg with family in 1968. His working years were mostly in the north as a professional guide in the fishing lodges at God's Lake, MB. Great Bear Lake NWT, and northern Ontario. He is survived by his wife Mary; his sons Sheldon (Christine), Merle (Kimberly) and Christopher; three granddaughters; brother and best friend Lionel (Emily and daughter Crystal) (Lionel's son Earl), sister Phyllis (William and children Darren and Kelly), sister Karen (children, Dennis, Dawn, Terry and Tammy) nephew Huey (son of Arthur) and niece Dallas (daughter of Kenny) and many great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Arthur (1968) Kenny (1973) and Foster (1974) his Dad (1978) and Mom (1998). The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre emergency, Dr. Andrew Borys and nursing staff, Khristine, Dan and Annie in the 4GH-HOBS unit. We respect his wife Mary's wishes to have a Traditional Wake on Tuesday, April 21 at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 22. On Wednesday, April 22 there will be a service at 9:00 a.m. with cremation to follow. It was Stan's wish that his ashes be scattered in the waters that he so loved to fish from. Rest in peace Stan
