Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA BOBBEE Peacefully at the Arborg Hospital on April 21, 2009, at the age of 76, Olga Bobbee passed away. Olga was predeceased by her husband John in 1989, sisters Marion, Pearl, Nancy and half brother Peter. She is survived by her sons, Paul (Barb), David (Wendy), Roger (Diane) and by her grandchildren, Jillian, Timothy, Jeff, Scott, Travis and Alex. Also left to cherish her memory are her sister Pauline Marko; half sister Margaret Batenchuk and brother John Macko. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Olga was born January 16, 1933 in Poplarfield (Hamrlik) to Nicholas and Annie Macko. She married John in 1953 and together they farmed in the Arborg (Bjarmi) District. Olga remained there until she moved into Sunrise Lodge in the fall of 2007. Olga will be remembered by many who rode on her school bus during her 25 years of service to the Evergreen School Division. She had an active role in the Arborg Ukrainian Catholic Church and was a member of the Arborg Seniors Club. We will remember Baba by the many special meals (especially pancakes), the always open door and constant love and care. Prayers will be held Friday April 24 at 7:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home in Arborg. Funeral services will he held Saturday, April 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church in Arborg. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre and Arborg Hospital for all their care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Olga's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Care Manitoba. Olga will be remembered for her strong will and determination, may she rest in peace. There is no such word as can't Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
