HILDEGARDE KOWALSON Hildegarde passed away peacefully in her sleep April 21, 2009, four days before her 94th birthday. Hildegarde was predeceased by her beloved husband Ike (1970), her dearly loved daughter Carole Bowersock (1978) and son-in-law Larry McRobbie (1999), her adopted grandson Michael Clingingsmith (2008), her sisters Elsie Fay, Helen Dey, Elizabeth Temple, and her brother Herbert Temple. Hildegarde's memory will be cherished by her daughter Paula McRobbie, her grandson Clay Bowersock, her sister Verna Kendel, her adopted family Darcia and John Clingingsmith and David and Simona Clingingsmith, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews and friends. Hildegarde lived in her own apartment until two months ago when she moved to Concordia Place. We thank the staff of the second floor of Concordia Place for all their excellent care. Hildgarde was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed by Paula and Clay. We were very lucky to have her for this long. A celebration of Hildegarde's life will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to D'Arcy's A.R.C., 730B Century Street.
