EDITH MACLEOD PENFOUND (nee GORRINGE) Edith MacLeod Penfound (nee Gorringe) passed away peacefully on April 20, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital Palliative Care Centre, London, Ontario in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Wm. Penfound and the late Tom MacLeod. Mother of two sons and their wives Wally and Norma MacLeod of Kenora, Ontario and Ron and Lynne MacLeod of Toronto. She will be missed by her three grandsons Jamie, Mark and Ryan MacLeod. Edith was born in Plumas Manitoba and lived for many years at Clear Lake and later in Winnipeg before moving to London, Ontario in the 1980s. As well as her husbands Edith is predeceased by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Gorringe of Plumas, Manitoba, her brother Gordon Gorringe of Winnipeg and her sister Olive Gray of Scarborough. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to London Cremation Services. Interment will take place at the Plumas Manitoba Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a donation in memory of Edith are asked to consider the London Health Sciences FoundationVictoria Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
