RUTH MAXINE ANDERSON (nee MATHISON) July 24, 1918 - April 3, 2009 It is with heavy hearts we are sad to announce the passing of our Mom. Ruth was predeceased by her beloved Rollie in 1997. Mom moved to Surrey in the year 2000 to be closer to her family. Mourning her loss is son Brian (Donna) Anderson, grandsons Greg (Anna), and Geoff (Maggie). Treasuring their time together and forever missing her is daughter Bette-Leigh (Hans) Vanderdoe, granddaughters Lisa (Jason) Brooks and Krista (David) Beaudry. Her pride and joy her great- grandchildren, Emma, Noah, Quinn, Sadine and step great-granddaughter, Josee. Mom, also leaves to mourn her sisters, Dagmar (Al) Elliott, and Florence Musselwhite. As well as many special relatives and close friends. Mom and Dad's ashes will be placed together and returned to their little place in paradise, Whytewold Beach. She gently took death by the hand... And journeyed to the promised land... And there with steps so light and gay She polishes the sun by day And lights the stars the shine at night And keeps the moonbeams silvery bright Mothers and grandmothers never really die They just keep house up in the sky... And in the heavenly home above They wait to welcome those they love. In memory of Ruth donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
