PETER G. P. BAKER, RAIC. December 28, 1924 - April 11, 2009 Peter died at the age of 85 in his home in West Vancouver with his daughters at his side. He grew up in Winnipeg, and spent his summers at the family camp at the Lake of the Woods. He attended Ravenscourt School 1938 - 1942 and took his degree in Architecture at the University of Manitoba. He joined the RCAF in the Second World War. After the war he began his career in Canada, continued in London, and spent four years in Stockholm, where he married Brita, his devoted wife for 40 years. They returned to Canada, to live in West Vancouver where he practised his profession, and sailed, skied, hiked and camped with his family. He was a keen woodworker, potter, photographer and traveller. Predeceased by Brita, he leaves brothers John (Beth), Stephen (Barbio) and sister Miriam (Ronnie), his daughters Jennie (Bruce), Jessica (Murray), loving companion Angela and grandchildren Sydney, Aidan, Kajsa and Zayne.
