Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK (FRED) GORDON SEDO With great sadness we announce the passing of Frederick on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 65 years. Remaining to forever cherish Fred's memory are his loving wife Anne whom he shared 36 years with. Together they raised three children, Nancy, Gordon, and Ronnie. He is survived by his brother and sisters, Doris Sveinsson, Arnold Sedo (Lucy), and Viola Telke; brother-in-law John Bernat; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father Frederick Sedo; his mother Anna Sedo (Fingler); Margaret Lautsch, Harold Sedo, and Arthur Sedo. Fred was born in Dugald, MB where he ended up spending most of his life on the family farm raising his family and farming. He worked in building trades for 17 years. He worked for CNR for 17 years. The past 15 years has been spent cabinet making where his last employer was Hawthorne Woodworks. He loved farming, gardening, bowling, dancing, and especially working with wood. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, Anola, MB, with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves, presiding. Interment will follow in Millbrook Cemetery, Anola, MB. For those who wish, viewing will be held prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
