Paul was born on October 8, 1941 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The son of the late Dr. Lorne William and Anna Angela Reznowski (Brokowski), Paul was raised in the city's North End (Selkirk and Aikins), where he attended Holy Ghost School, Saint Paul's High School, and Saint Paul's College. Following in his father's footsteps, Paul graduated from medical school at the University of Ottawa in 1967. As a young man, Paul had been a lifeguard at Winnipeg Beach, and was active in high school football. An avid skier, fisherman, and swimmer, Paul spent many years in San Diego, California where he also enjoyed surfing, snorkeling and travelling. An anesthesiologist, Paul practiced medicine with a pro-life conscience in both Canada and the United States. Paul is survived by his wife Kerri (Simmons) and their five beautiful children, Marcus Paul (17), Gerard Paul (15), Maurice Paul (14), Genevieve Marie (12), and Marcel Paul (9). He is also survived by his brother Dr. Lorne Anthony Reznowski of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and was predeceased by his infant brother James, and his sister Celeste. Paul spent much of his spare time among his family, successfully coaching both hockey and soccer. A member of the Holy Name Society, Paul was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish in Post Falls, Idaho. His presence will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins, who enjoyed both his zest for life and his one of a kind personality. Future family excursions to the rivers and lakes of Idaho, as well as the shores of Lake Winnipeg, and the beaches of both San Diego and Mexico, are sure to awaken many fond memories. Surrounded by his family and friends, a Requiem Mass was held on Thursday, April 16 at Immaculate Conception Church in Post Falls, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Physicians for Life, PO Box 1289, Richmond Ontario. Vichnaya Pamyat!
