Yvette is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Henri, sons Norman (Joy), Marcel, Paul (Lisa), Henri Jr. (Karen) and daughter-in-law Gisele; grandchildren: Daniel (Tara), Dee-Anne (Norm), Martin (Dana), Chantal (Nathan), Nathalie and Annie Rose; great-grandchildren: Zachary and Calem. Yvette was predeceased by her eldest son Gilbert in 1994. She also leaves to mourn brothers and sisters: Adrien (Lorraine), Gertrude Hague, Jeanette Aminot (Fern), Louise Bynski (Louie), Richard (Alice), Roger (Cecile), brother-in-law Antoine Daudet (Denise) and many nieces and nephews. Yvette was born in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba on October 3, 1930. She was cherished as a person of exceptional loving kindness and for her unfailing devotion to her family. She was an excellent listener and a wise counsellor, always endeavouring to lend support and encouragement. Her keen interest in people and good sense of humour made her a pleasure to be with. She will be deeply missed and always remembered for her fine Christian qualities. During their retirement years, Yvette enjoyed the many occasions she accompanied and assisted her husband Henri in his travels performing volunteer services for CESO. Yvette drew strength to cope with her prolonged illness from her strong faith in Jesus' promise of a resurrection in which she will be reunited with her loved ones when paradise is restored on earth. There shall be a resurrection of the dead... -Acts 24:15. The meek shall inherit the earth -Matthew 5:5 A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall Centre, 227 Lakewood Blvd. A private interment will take place at a later date. The family wishes to thank all of her care givers and the staff at Riverview Health Centre 3rd floor for their truly exceptional care and compassion.
