SUSANNA MARTHA DESENDER (nee DEGREAR) 1916 - 2009 Peacefully on Wednesday morning, April 22, 2009, Susanna Desender passed into God's care at the age of 92. She was predeceased by Andrew Desender, her husband for more than 50 years. Suzanne was born June 3, 1916 in Roeselare, Belgium and came with her husband and family to Canada in 1951. Susanna is survived by her seven children, Rika (Alex), Frieda (Vital), Conrad (Yvonne), Liebrecht (Amy), Dries Jan, Kathleen, David, and by 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Misericordia Health Centre for their very good care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 1080 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Parish, 252 Dubuc Street.
