RICHARD (RIC) MCINNES March 14, 1954 - April 20, 2009 Ric is survived by his daughter Amber (Darren); grandchildren Kieran and Haylie; brother Dan; sisters, Laurie, Gail, and Kathy, their families; his extended family and many friends. Ric was predeceased by wife Marian; parents Edla and Jack; and brother Rob. Ric will be remembered as a caring father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed going for coffee, collecting and watching movies. Most recently, he started a membership at a local gym and looked forward to his daily workouts. Ric worked at Air Canada and retired in 2008 after 27 years of service. He enjoyed working and made several friends during his time there. Ric loved his wife Marian with all his heart. His world almost fell apart upon her passing. He found a will to carry on with the support of friends and family. He had recently celebrated his 55th birthday with his daughter and grandchildren out in Teulon and it was a happy time with lots of laughter, good food and fun. Ric will be missed greatly. A very special thanks to Jake Penner for his caring and support and who was always there for Ric. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 27 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg.
