She leaves to mourn her husband Mike of 66 years, brother Peter Boyko, sister Tillie Yanisiew, daughters Nellie (John) Burak and Pauline Troyan, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by her parents Sam and Mary Boyko, brother Bill, sisters Annie, Nellie and Tina, daughter Shirley Prociuk and grandson Cory Prociuk and son-in-law Melvin Troyan. Family was most important in Mom's life. She made sure she kept in touch with everyone. Mom was a giving spirit, never forgot anyone's birthday and had a wonderful way of making you feel so important. She was famous for her cooking, meatballs, donuts, homemade bread, perogies, cabbage rolls and also for her gardening before her health failed. She went to the Arborg Personal Care Home in 2006. Prayers will be held Thursday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Arborg. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church in Arborg. The family wishes to thank Doctors, Nurses and staff at Arborg Personal Care Home and Arborg Hospital and St. Boniface Hospital for all of their care.
