HELEN RIGEY (nee KISHKA) August 20, 1927 - April 27, 2009 To all of those who knew her and loved her, it is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our Precious Mom, Baba, and Great Baba. Remaining to forever cherish Mom's memory are her five loving children, Jean (Rudy), Grace (Emil), Kenny (Linda), Emily (Larry), Janice (Cam); eight grandchildren, Derek (fiancée Blessing), Gerald, Duane (Pam), Dean (Lesa), Kurtis, Justin, Brandon, Dylan and two great grandchildren, Kaidyn Gula and Kayta Gula. God took my hand and we had to part He eased my pain but broke our hearts. This life for me has truly passed. I have loved you all till the very last. Weep not for me but take the Courage and Strength from God above. Love one another for my sake. Celebration of Helen's life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West. Father Walter Klimchuk officiating. The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital CCU on the fifth floor for all of their care.
