LILLIAN MARY HAMPTON (nee PAUL) B.Ed., PBD. Peacefully on April 26, 2009 Lillian Mary Hampton passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 66 years. Lillian is survived by her husband Adam Gordon Hampton II, sons Gordon Hampton III (Lennie), Grant Hampton (Rikki) and daughter Leila Hampton, grandchildren Amanda, Ashley, Adam IV, Mclean, Paul, Alex, Bryce, Connor and Kierstin, brothers Lorne (Lynda), John, Brian (Jackie) and sister Sandra (Glen) and numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her parents Harvey and Mary Paul as well as sisters Beth and Judith. Lil was born in Balmoral, Manitoba. Lil received her Bachelor of Education, her Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Education and taught at Oakenwald School. Lil's family was very important, always putting family before herself. Lil donated blood over a hundred times to Canadian Blood services over the years. Lil was dedicated to fundraising for the Cancer and Heart and Stroke Foundations. She was a member of a Quilting Group at Fort Garry Church and also visited home bound elderly. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the Victoria General Hospital and her family physician Dr. R. Hayward. Special thanks to Sandy for your love and care you gave to Lil. A private family celebration of Lillian's life will be held. Mrs Hampton was my grade 2 teacher at Ralph Maybank in 1992, and I have always thought of her as my favourite teacher. I am so sad to hear that she has passed. - Posted by: Melissa (Student) on: Apr 17, 2017
