LOVEE KLIMAN (nee KARE) Lovee Kliman of Jacksonville, FL passed away on April 20, 2009 after a brief illness. Lovee was born in Winnipeg on August 1, 1928. After high school, she moved to Montreal to attend McGill. She married Hy Kliman of McCreary and Winnipeg in 1949 and moved to Jacksonville in 1955, where she raised her family and became an active member of that community. Lovee was a fine artist and a member of the choir for 25 years at the Jacksonville Jewish Centre, and volunteered for decades at River Garden Home and Baptist Hospital. She was active alongside Hy, supporting his endeavours in civic affairs where he acted on behalf of the State of Florida. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Hy W. Kliman; daughter Marilyn of Seattle; grandchildren Nekka and Harry Hindmarsh; son Marvin and Cheri of Atlanta; their children Chad and Julie Sherr; great-grandchildren Nicholas and Ashlyn; sister, Vera Vogel of Calgary, and extended family throughout Canada. Lovee was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Isaac Kare, sister Eleanor Roback and brothers, Sam and Dr. Morley Kare. Funeral took place on April 23, 2009 in Jacksonville, FL.
