Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANDREW TOFFAN Andrew Toffan, 79 of Steinbach, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on April 28, 2009. He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Mary (nee Elkiw); brother Steve (Irene); brother Harry, numerous nephews and nieces. Andrew was born April 10, 1930 in Winnipeg and grew up in the Grunthal area. He married Mary in 1951 and together they ran a dairy farm in the Grunthal area for 24 years. In 1975 they moved to Steinbach and he worked for the Department of Natural Resources until his retirement in 1996. Prayers will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach on Sunday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be held Monday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church at Sarto, MB with interment at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church or the Bethesda Foundation, Bethesda Cancer Care, 316 Henry Street, Steinbach, MB R5G 0P9.
