REYNALDO MENOR Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, Rey Menor passed away at the age of 77 years. Rey will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Veneracion, their children: Rey Jr. (Lourdes), Vicky (JR) Beniza, Theresa (Edward) Clemente, Arthur, Luisa (Aldrin) Cabalbag, Juliet, Cristina (Rodelio) Ting, Arnold (Tata), 20 grandchildren and brothers and sisters and their families in the Philippines and Canada. An avid fisherman, Rey loved the outdoors, enjoying the summer at the cottage fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving father, generous to a fault and a dedicated supportive husband. He loved sports in particular boxing was his favorite. Lamay (viewing) will be held between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight, Sunday, May 3, Glen Lawn Funeral Home with prayers being said at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, St. Edward's Parish, 818 Arlington Street. Rey will be taken back to the family cemetery in the Philippines following the mass. Special thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses in the MICU, Health Science Centre for their compassion and tender loving care, making it easy for us and our beloved to go through this difficult time.
