LOUISE PATENAUDE PRETEAU On Monday, April 27, 2009 after a very short battle with lung cancer, Louise beloved wife of Gilbert Preteau suddenly passed away at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. She will be very sadly missed by her children: Rita (Shayne), Angele (Marc) Robert (Angele) and her precious grandkids Michael, Stephanie, Devin, Kayla and Robert and Angele's new baby on the way. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids. Louise was a loving sister to Hervé (Gwen), Edithe (Urbain), Guy (Paulette), Gilles (Tammy), Monique, Pauline (Noel), Gérard, Richard (Edna), Michel (Dolores) and Micheline (Peter). She was a wonderful sister in law to: Carmelle (late Emile), Pauline (Paul), Jeanne (René) Julien (Linda), Marcel (Betty), Gisèle (Richard), Léo (Elizabeth), the late Roland, Thérèse (Winfred), Helene (Hans), Marc (Lena), and Maurice (Noel). She was predeceased by her parents George and Marguerite Patenaude, her father-in-law Denis Preteau as well as her two loving nephews David and Chris Dubois and her niece Johanne Fréchette. Louise was a very caring and loving person who opened her home to everyone and always had coffee ready. She had numerous camping friends from the St. Malo Park where she worked for the past 25 years. Prayers will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2009 at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church in St. Malo, Manitoba followed by a Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Family ash interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cancer Society of Manitoba. A trust fund has also been set up at Caisse La Prairie, Box 58, St. Malo, MB, R0A 1T0, account #216150.
