She was born and raised in Montreal. In December 1940 she relocated to Winnipeg to marry James Cromb. She was predeceased by Jim and sister Margaret Wright. She will also be fondly remembered by her niece, Eleanor Vickery (James) of Memphis, TN. She was the quintessential stay at home mom ; compassionate, supportive, patient and generous. Bea possessed a quick wit and keen sense of humor. She recently penned a note for her family which in part includes; I have had a very good life; a loving husband, a loving family and many, many kind and precious friends. What else could one ask for? A funeral service and reception will be held at Ness Avenue Baptist Church, 2700 Ness Avenue on Thursday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Shepansky and Reverend Earl Gould presiding. Reverend Gould was her minister at Deer Lodge United Church, which she attended for more than 60 years. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends may wish to make a donation, in Bea's name, to a charity of their choice. To live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die .
