They both worked for Western Glove and enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends at their cabin in Patricia Beach. Nina was also a Brown Owl at the St. Thomas Anglican Church and was an active member of the St. Thomas Anglican Church and then at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church. Throughout her life she was steadfast in her faith. Her greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and with her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, knitting, quilt making, canning, picking berries, cooking, baking, doing crossword puzzles, reading her bible every morning, going out for breakfast and challenging anyone to a game of scrabble. We would like to extend our thanks for the care given by the doctors, nurses and staff involved in her care at the Health Sciences Centre, as well as those friends and family that have shown so much support during this time. The family would also like to thank the members of the St. Barnabas Anglican Church and The Rev. Rod Sprange for their tremendous support and prayers given for our Mother. We will always remember her for her caring and generosity. She touched so many lives through her selfless acts of kindness. Although it broke our hearts to see her go, we know that she has gone to a better place and is reunited with loved ones. She was finally granted her wish to take her trip . Those we hold most dear never truly leave us, they live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared and the love they brought into our lives. Thank you Mom for always being there. We love you dearly and you will be greatly missed. Till we meet again.
