LAZINA JOYCE MOHAMMED (ABDOOL) In the early hours of May 4, 2009 after a courageous battle with her heart, our mother passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by her husband Feroze, daughters, Ann (Karl), Suzanne (Keiron), Yasmin, her sons, Faruke, Fareed (Rachelle), Farzan, Tim (Geeta), grandchildren, Christian, Reanna, Chanelle, Dominic, Chantal, Ryan, Jessica, Randall, Bianca, Hannah, Sophia and Olivia. Special mention to Nicholas and Melissa who were like her grandchildren. Her brothers and sisters: Mena, Polly, Dulcie, Sherry, Helen, Sandra, Ralph, Shaffique, Ameer, Nazim, daughter to Sahedan Abdool who is 90 and still alive in Trinidad today. Mom lost her Dad Pookan Abdool on May 8, 1960. Special mention to Auntie Dulcie who our mother was exceptionally close to, she was the guiding light and spiritual comfort in our mother's life in the last few years. Mom also enjoyed a special friendship with Leela Silva. Leela you were there for our mother in many ways and your kind support is very much appreciated. Our devoted mother was a very hard working, generous and caring person who lived her life for her children. You now have peace and comfort at last. We love you and we will always miss you, you will be in our hearts forever. inna lillaahi wa innaa ilaihi raajioon (verily from Allah we came and to Allah is our eventual return) Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with viewing one hour prior to the service.
