Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE GREIPL It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Lawrence on May 3, 2009 at the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn two sisters, Eleanor Greipl and Martha Plante; sister-in-law Betty Greipl; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Johanna Greipl; brother Leonard Greipl; sisters, Hilda Greipl and Johanna Nagy; and brothers-in-law, Rene Plante and Michael Nagy. Lawrence was born in Fulda, Saskatchewan and grew up in Cudworth, Saskatchewan. He moved to Winnipeg as a young adult and worked at various jobs, retiring from Air Canada in 1985. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies including woodworking, gardening and traveling. The family would like to thank the Riverview Health Centre staff and Christ the King Church for their care and attention to Lawrence over the years. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Marys Rd. Funeral mass will be said at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, May 8, 2009 at the church with a reception to follow. Interment to follow reception at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, please make a donation to Riverview Health Centre Foundation, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 9Z9. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
