ELLEN CLARA (BROWNING) ISBISTER January 14, 1943 - May 5, 2009 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce the passing of beloved wife of Bryant, mother of Bryant Jr. (Bud), Jeff, Cory and Shannon (Chris) and grandmother of Brooklynn Marginet. She was predeceased by her mother and father Edith and Albert, sister Audrey Fagan, her mother and father-in-law Harry and Lil Isbister, brothers-in-law Ike Isbister, Ted Patterson and Jim McMahon. Left to mourn her are sister Joan (Glen) Prout, Lynn (Charlie) Puddifant, brother Albert, brothers-in-law Paddy Fagan (Brenda), Kelly, Wayne (Diane) Isbister, sisters-in-law Bev (Scotty) Birnie, Linda (Robert) Harrison, Judy Patterson, Brenda (Danny) Granger and Beth (Murray) Last and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be dearly missed by her many friends. Ellen loved to garden and tend to her flowers and vegetables all summer. Fall months were spent canning and preserving the vegetables from her garden. She loved to shop for bargains. Ellen loved to cook and was a wonderful cook, family and friends never left her home hungry. You taught us love and how to fight; you gave us strength; you gave us might. Someday when we meet up yonder We'll stroll hand in hand again in a Land that knows no parting Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 10 at 2:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall. Memorial service will be held Monday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. also at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Leonard Oracheski will officiate. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
