HELEN BIALEK 1924 - 2009 The family of Helen Bialek, sadly announces her quiet passing on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the East-Gate Lodge in Beausejour, Manitoba. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Mike; her son, Ronald in infancy; and her parents, Mike and Frances Cyncora. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her sons, Leonard (Eveline); Gerald; Gary (Deborah); and Norman (Linda); her grandchildren, Shelley, Richard, Brendyn and Clayton; her great-granddaughter, Faith. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Casey (Frances) Cyncora; Jean Hnatiuk; Edward (Laverna) Cyncora and Rose (Don) Stefaniuk. Helen was born on January 26, 1924, the oldest of five children, in Eastdale, Manitoba. She was raised and received her eduation in that district and eventually met Mike Bialek. The couple were married in 1942 and farmed in the Eastdale area their whole life. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Staff of East-Gate Lodge for their 11 years of excellent care. A special thanks also to Dr. Zeiler. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory can be made to the Recreation Department of East-Gate Lodge, 646 James ave., Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0. Funeral services will held Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. inside the Perimeter. Viewing will begin one hour before the service. Interment and reception will follow.
