BERNIE KUHN November 18, 1966 - May 06, 2009 Tragically, on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at his residence Bernie passed away at the age of 42. Bernie was predeceased by his mother Irma in 1976. He leaves to mourn his loss, his father Erwin, siblings Fred (Cheryl), and Sonja, nieces and nephews Dayna, Hailey, Brian and Richelle, Uncle Alex, cousins Connie and Harvey, as well as the Musto family. Bernie grew up as a happy child in Winnipeg. When the family separated, Bernie moved away to Germany at the age of eight. Two years later Bernie tragically lost his mother and several years later moved back to Winnipeg. He had many jobs through the years as a shipper / receiver, with his last job being with VAW. Bernie was always a hard worker and enjoyed whatever job he was currently in. He spent many hours fixing cars and bicycles as a hobby. He also had a great flair for interior decorating. As his years went on Bernie struggled with addiction and was never able to overcome it. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with a reception to follow. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
