HELEN EMILY ALDOUS February 6, 1907 May 7, 2009 Peacefully on May 7, 2009 at the age of 102, Helen Aldous passed away with family by her side. She is survived by her three daughters, June Krieger of Maple Ridge, B.C., Joan (Ken) Gray of Winnipeg and Carol Aldous of Winnipeg, ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1973, son-in-law Lloyd Krieger and grandson Michael Krieger. Mom grew up in Elma, Manitoba, one of seven children and has never forgotten the old homestead. She moved to Winnipeg as a teenager, and met and married our Dad. Mom was a true homemaker. Her family, friends, neighbours and her home meant everything to her. She was able to live in her own home until after her 100th birthday. Mom was a member of St. Bartholomew Anglican Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. The family wishes to thank the staff of Vista Park Lodge for their care and support.
