Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET COLVILLE LEGGAT At 95 years of age, Margaret Colville Leggat slipped peacefully away at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Margie had a wonderful life. Her teaching career at The Pas, Daniel McIntyre and many years at Kelvin High School (Math) touched and inspired many. In the mid 50's Margaret taught at the Canadian Air Force Base in France for three years. During her stay, she explored Europe and Britain, skiing in Austria, camping in France, Italy and Greece. Summer courses in London allowed her to enjoy the theatre productions and attend the Olympics in Sweden and visit her relatives in Scotland. Margie travelled extensively. Her trips to the Galapagos and Machu Pichu, Peru were her favourites. She had a keen interest in sports, especially gymnastics and track and field, golfing, curling, skiing, swimming, theatre, opera, gardening, partying at the lake and babysitting; Margie was constantly busy but always found time for family. She was always encouraging and opening doors for her nephew John Kirby (Gay), niece Dayve Bond, grandnephews Kurtis Bond, Albert Kirby and Jonathon Kirby and her grandniece Leeona Bond. She has left wonderful memories for us all. The family appreciates and wishes to thank the staff of Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home for their excellent care, kindness and patience.
