HERBERT (PAT) EARL WAYLETT Herbert Pat Earl Waylett of Summerland passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord on May 6, 2009 at the age of 87 years. He is lovingly remembered by his family; wife, Pearl; four children, Garry (Gayle) of Vancouver, Bill (Gail) of Summerland, Randy (Denise) of Winnipeg and Mary Jane (Mark) of Calgary; ten grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Pat was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great friend. Pat's passions in life were; church, Cubs, Scouts, any opportunity to entertain with a song, a yodel, playing his guitar or telling a corny joke; anything to bring a smile to someone's face. After a life working and raising a family in Winnipeg, Pat and Pearl moved to Summerland, where they made many wonderful friends. Pat loved life, humanity and the Lord. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Summerland Baptist Church, 13018 Elliot, Summerland with Pastor Larry Schram officiating.
