SHIRLEY SLAUNWHITE (BOSMA) September 21, 1937 - May 6, 2009 Peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, Shirley Slaunwhite passed away at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 71 years. Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband Gerald Slaunwhite. She will be lovingly remembered by her children David (Jeanette) Sheldon, Kay-Marie, Gwen (Bill), JoAnn and Heather and the joys of her life her grandchildren, Jonathan, David, Angela, Nikita, Lyle, Steven, Megan and her precious great-grandson Jaden. She will also be missed by her loving brother Mervyn Bosma and sister Jesse Howell, as well as her many friends and her spiritual family. Visitation will take place Monday, May 11, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Private family interment will be in Brookside Cemetery.
