Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA DOS ANJOS GATA Peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2009, Maria passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 71 years. Maria is survived by her sons, Victor (Leonor) and Joao Paulo of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Tanya and Ashley; nephew Celso (Cindy) Machado of Toronto as well as extended family in Toronto, Montreal and Portugal. She was predeceased by her husband Joao; parents Manuel and Maria; sisters Eduarda and Evelyn. Maria was born in Lagoa, S. Miguel Acores and came to Canada in March 1973. Prayers will be said on Monday, May 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street with Rev. Msgr. M. Comeault, P.H. as Celebrant.
