DORIS HAGEN (Abigosis) Peacefully, on Friday May 8th, 2009 Eden Doris Hagen (Abigosis) passed away. She was born in Pine Creek on July 18th, 1947. Doris was predeceased by her husband Cliff, parents; Frank and Vitaline, sisters; Chocolate, Myrtle, and Marlene. Brothers; Timothy and Chester. She leaves to mourn her daughters Stacey and Millicent, sons; Andre and Serge (Debbie). Grandchildren; Ivy and Damien. Brothers; Stanley, Clifford (Donna), Frank (Doreen), Allen and Allard. Sisters; Valerie (Rodger), Norma (Louie),and Ramona. Friendliness, companionship, and compassion are just some of the attributes she possessed. Her sense of humour at family gatherings will always be remembered and talked about. In fact, this is the reason we were asked to leave our grieving room at her last few hours of life. The sharing of this quality of hers gave us so much laughter at her bedside just the same as she did when she was alive. Doris found comfort in Bible scriptures that tell us what will happen when we die. One of them is in Revelation 21:3,4, where it tells us that God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. She knew There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. A wake will take place at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel on Selkirk Ave. on Wednesday May 13th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., followed by funeral services on Thursday May 14th, at 10:00 a.m. All friends and relatives are welcome.
