Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMETRO KOZY May 4, 1930 - April 26, 2009 It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our husband and father after a long battle with Alzheimer's on April 26. Metro was born on May 4, 1930 on a farm in the Ashville/Dauphin area. He moved to Lynn Lake in 1965 where he spent most of his life working in the mines, first as an operator of the train cars hauling ore and later as a hoistman safely bringing the miners underground and to surface. He moved to Winnipeg in 2001 where he lived the last of his years. We would like to extend a big thank you to the special care unit on 3 East at the Deer Lodge Center. A service will be held on May 15, 10:30 a.m. at the St. Vital Parish, 1629 Pembina.
