LOURDES PANAON Peacefully, with her family by her side, Lourdes passed away at the age of 89 years on May 9, 2009 at the Riverview Health Centre. Survived by her children: Cherie Maranan (Leonardo), Remy Bisda, Gina Taylo (Manuel), Jesus Langit (Lydia), Dory Guevarra (Robert) and Vic Panaon (Nelda); grandchildren: Teresa Paraiso, Leslie Bisda, Ronald Taylo, Sheana Panaon, Anjelica Guevarra, Marife Langit, Carmela Langit, Jerry Langit, Gener Langit, Conrado Junior Langit, Jonathan Langit and Gary Langit; great-grandchildren Amanda Paraiso, Chris Paraiso, A.J. Dimaapi, Jasmine Dimaapi and all the great-grandchildren residing in the Philippines. Lourdes is also survived by her sister Presentation Manlapaz and many nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Calgary, New York, U.S.A., Ontario and the Philippines. Lourdes was predeceased by her husband Primo, son Conrado Langit, brothers: Ismael Mallo, Marcello Mallo and Ponciano Mallo, sisters: Estella Bautista and Maria Lingad. Lamay will take place Thursday and Friday, May 14 and 15 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street, with Rev. Msgr. Enrique Samson presiding. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. The family would like to thank all the staff of 3E Wing at Riverview Health Centre, especially to Dr. Fiona Crow.
