JOSEPH (JOE) McAVOY On Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Joe McAvoy, 80 years of age passed away after a courageous battle. Joe leaves behind to cherish his memory and celebrate his life his beloved wife Doris, his three sons Chris (Brenda) and their children Sean and Lisa, Paul (Jocelynne) and her daughter Tracy (Sion) and their son Nicholas, Dave (Carmen) and their children Shayla and Evan, niece Kathy McInnes (McAvoy) and her two daughters Carleigh and McKenzie, his step daughter Marnie Pastuck (Richard Alms). Joe was predeceased by his parents William and Cora, his loving first wife Patricia and his stepson David Pastuck. Joe was born in Melville, Saskatchewan. He worked for the Federal Department of Agriculture for 35 years. He loved to travel and go to the cottage. Funeral services will be held at St. Alphonsus Church, 300 Donalda Ave. with Brother Jorge officiating, on Friday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will follow.
