MONA GOBEIL (nee BESSETTE) Mrs. Mona Gobeil, aged 67 years, of Winnipeg, MB, dearly beloved wife of Steve passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the cottage at Bird River. Mona enjoyed her retirement wintering in Texas and spending the summers with her family and friends at the cottage. Mona is survived by her husband Steve and sons Ron and Kelly, grandchildren Adrien and Evan, brother Gerry, sisters Doreen (Bert), Paulette, and Viviane (Bill), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Larry Gobeil, sister-in-law Mary Bessette, Eveline Morin, and parents Gilberte and Adrien Bessette and Hortence and Albert Gobeil. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood, Windsor Park on Friday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Phil Daley officiating.
