EMIL PALIDWOR Peacefully, with family at his side, Emil passed away May 13, 2009 at the age of 85, at Kin Place in Oakbank, Manitoba. Emil was predeceased by his parents Paul and Lillian, brothers Harry, Norman and Walter. He is survived by his sister Mary Surzyshyn, brother Edward (Lil), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff at Kin Place for their kindness and loving care of Emil for almost five years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews Greg and Fred Surzyshyn, Bill, Carson, Lloyd and Curtis Palidwor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kin Place Personal Care Home, Recreation Department, 680 Pine Drive, Box 28, Oakbank, MB R0E 1J0.
