ROSALIE TURKO Peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2009, Rosalie Turko passed away at the age of 84 years. Rose is survived by her beloved husband William Turko of Portage la Prairie; her children Eric Turko, Ken (Myrna) Turko, Noreen (Jim) Woods and Vivian Pascucci along with many grandchildren, her sister Mary Lawrence and many nieces and nephews and their families. Prayers will take place at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Monday evening, May 18, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment is to follow at Hillside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations made be made in Rose's memory to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 21 Royal Road S. Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1T8.
