JOHN BOYKO On Tuesday, May 12, 2009, with family by his side, our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather peacefully passed away at Oakview Personal Care Home at the age of 87. John was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Anne, in June 2006. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Margaret (Dieter); grandchildren Jonathan, Christina (Brodie); great-grandson Taylor, Rebecca (Alex), and son Gary (Dianne); grandchildren Kerra (Tom) and Lori (Kit), and his sister Kay. John was born and grew up in Komarno, MB. His working years were spent at CN, Ideal Brass and Plating and lastly at MacDon Industries. He was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Third Floor Eagle Way, Oakview for all their kindness and compassion in caring for John for the past two and one half years. Funeral services for John will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment to follow. GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 338-7111
