HELEN SINCLAIR MILLER Peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, Helen Miller, aged 95 years, of 259 Spence Street (formerly of 616 Ashburn Street) passed away with friends at her side. Helen leaves to mourn her passing her sister-in-law, Verla, of Vancouver along with many relatives and a host of friends throughout Canada, Scotland and the United States. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald W. Miller; and her sister, Edith Miller. Born in Winnipeg, Helen was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Miller of Winnipeg (formerly of Scotland). Helen's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. Interment will take place on Wednesday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. For those who wish to attend, please meet at the cemetery's main gate entrance at 12:45 p.m. We would like to express a special thanks to Doctors and all the staff on H4-MICU for their outstanding care and empathy. Flowers gratefully declined. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in Helen's memory to a charity of one's choice.
