JAMES (JIMMY) MOSCRIP It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Moscrip on May 13, 2009 at the age of 80 with close family members at his side. James was born on September 17, 1928 in Winnipeg and married Ellen in 1952. They moved their family to California in 1965. In 1975 James and Ellen moved back to Winnipeg to be close to their elderly parents. James had many accomplishments in his life, the one that he was most proud of was becoming a Shriner. Anybody that knew James knew that there was never a kinder, gentler, caring or more giving soul. James leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 57 years Ellen; daughter Jodene (Brian), sons Greg (Mi Mi), Mark; grandchildren Casey (Wanda), Dustin, Ian (Brenlee), Naomi (Chuck); great grandchildren Mackenzie, Jordan, Sydney, Matthew and Samantha. A great amount of gratitude is given to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for everything they have done for our Husband, Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa. He had his special nurses and a very special doctor that all took such great care of him; we thank you so very much. The service and luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
